Carrying on with what's new on the new website:

Responsivity
The new website will adapt to the device you're using. So views and tiles (learned new word! ) will display to allow you to scroll only up and down in most of the pages.
Some pages, league tables being the main example, will reduce their columns with mobiles or tablets, to only show the more important ones to give you a better display. If you go landscape, you will se more columns appear, on a pc screen instead all columns will be visible.

Custom Position
You can now set a custom position for your players. That position will be then visible on the team selection page where you will have 2 options:
Order by automatic position, will show your list as it has alway been, ordered by the position showed by the players page.
Order by custom position, your list will be ordered by the custom positions you set.
This will come in handy where a player has a tag you don't like, or has no tag at all.

Match Preview
Match preview page is no more displayed with players on the field. It is now a table like those you see in newspapers, this allowed a much quicker page to load, as this page was always very slow in the old display.

Transfer lists
Transfer lists like for sale, free agents, available etc, are now displayed as tiles and not as a table anymore. This should be a better experience with mobiles. Squad page instead hasn't changed due to better understanding.

Stadium page
Has been graphically improved with new images and display

Tactics page
Also tactics page has been improved with more modern images and positions on some tactics as the old ones were very outdated

Manager and club trophy cabinet
Manager and club trophy cabinet, long awaited, are now available in the history page of the manager and club. Please note that not all seasons are already stored. I will ask users to help me with data recovery, carrying on the old project we did in General ITN forum

Manager of the season page
Manager of the season page has now more data. Again, not all yet. I will import all missing data when the new site stuff has settled.

More to be added...

Just wanted to say thanks Ian, and also ask about the registration? I registered with original username but had to change password to 8 characters but didn't get any email.

All application with a password different than the existing one is refused, and it stops the procedure forcing me to start again.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN'T MATCH THE SAME PASSWORD

Users that had a shorter password I will give instructions as soon as I finished the backlog

Ok so, all VALID applications have been activated. If you didn't receive an email and are unable to login properly it means that your application was wrong (wrong username or wrong password). As per users that had password shorter than 8 characters, you can now apply, and make sure you input your old password followed by * (asterisk) till you reach the 8 minimum characters. Example: password ian - becomes ian***** total 8 characters. you will be able to change it to one of your choice once in.

This! Come back Mark. I suspect a few clubs will become available when Ian removes the "stop sack" thing that's been in place since the issues a few months back. Get a good club, can see the new look ITN attracting a few new managers/ old faces once word gets out.

First impression - neat interface, need time to get used to it. Although I do wish for the "dark mode" like in the old website, it's easy on the eyes.
Interesting to see new player positions on formations, one's to experiment with. Do hope 3-4-3 will get 'nerfed' here.

Overall, looking good.

On the view squad Trait page, some players seem to have more traits than they actually have if I can remember properly.

I've noticed that too, but it only appears when you view players by traits on view. E.g. my player Will Walker only has the trait Aerially dominant on the player view page, which he had before, but picks up 'poor first touch' and 'resilient' when viewing traits of all players. Same for quite a few others.

I too have additional traits when on the view squad page which weren’t there before and aren’t shown against the player in his individual view
