End of Season 27 - New website previews

Post by Ian Foletto » 08/02/2016, 10:12

I start posting here some screenshots of the new website as it's growing up. I'll keep posting them in the next days as soon as they're ready.

This is player honours, manager's one would work about the same way.

Of course yes! It is VERY welcome. As it helps the team working on it, plus it is rewarding for them knowing they receive suggestions and eventually appreciation which surely helps! :D

Great then! joking...
Graphics are probably the last thing that will be completed, as coding the pages is the 1st step. Also, as the project started with pages more "full", we are now reverting to a lighter and more minimal skin. In particular in shared hostings, in which we are, it is better having light pages, so the site is much quicker and more managers can be online at the same time without crashing.
Anyway, it would also be very welcome if some users have good design skills and want to help us with some icons or stuff like that!

Both haven't been coded in the game yet, so I can't tell you exactly how they will work, they're ideas on our agenda. At the moment you can see an example page, the exact details will follow at a later stage.
We will soon add some other pages too, like player page and other stuff.

I personally think it looks great and I agree about keeping graphics to a minimum to ensure we can navigate at speed. For what it's worth, my other hobby is coding, although I only really know Java, I can appreciate how much of your time you sacrifice for us lot to play this game.

I think I speak for all managers when I say we are really grateful. In my humble opinion, this game is the best web-based MMO I have played. I'm definitely sticking around.

Sadly I'm not much of an artist, so I politely decline on designing stuff. But Martini glass for a trophy.....brilliant :)
