Worst result this season: Beaten on first day of the season. gutted
Worst result ever: probably the playoff last season in the final
Best ever buy: never had a real standout buy to be honest.
Worst ever buy: Never had a bad one either
Best decision: Going against my idea of a good tactic and branching out
Worst decision: Leaving Celtic
Biggest achievement: winning the A2 title aswell as saving Celtic from Relegation
Ambition short term: Build City into a team bascially
Ambition long term: High up the ITN Pyramid, B's/A's. Prem if we can
Fave ITN feature: Forum
Would like to see added to ITN: Pretty content with the game, quite advanced to others, maybe a range of formations that work not just 3-4-3

The Man

Name: Hugh Maltby
Age: 22 (23 in a few weeks)
Location: Newcastle/Somerset
ITN Club: The (not-so) mighty Real Sociedad
Occupation: Desperately applying for jobs.
Moto: Why aim high and miss when you can aim low and score?

Favorites

Football team: Juventus
Current Player: Tough one - I'll take the easy option and say Messi.
All time player: Zidane - by far the best player of my generation, Totti would probably come second. Nedved would be favourite Juve player but I'm gutted Gaetano Scirea was before my time.
Football ground visited: St. James' park is probably the best I've ever visited but my ultimate goal is to visit the new Delle Alpi when it's completed.
Sportsman: Not sure if he counts, but Luciano Moggi, ex-director of Juve, certified genius and would probably have one of the most interesting biographies around. Ex-railway station caretaker who built the greatest football club in the world before falling from grace. Too many amazing deals to mention, but the best was signing Zidane for £3m, selling for £65m. Apparently during the height of his power, all transfers in Italy had to be approved by him - probably an exaggeration, but it goes to show the level of power he reached.
Hobbies: Football, watching anime.
Music/band: Rory Gallagher.
TV show: Don't watch much TV, so I'll say Bleach, my favourite anime series.
Car: Ford Escort. My dream is to upgrade to a Focus Estate one day. No joke. A classic example of me living by my life moto mentioned earlier. I'd also love a proper LandRover.
Pin up: Keira Knightly.
Film: The Godfather Trilogy and the The Vengeance Trilogy (Park-Chan-Wook) are must-watches.
Food/meal: Some kind of spicy chicken noodle soup stuff.
Drink: Whatever wine is on 3 for £12 at Tesco's - JP Chenet at the minute. I'm classy.
Holiday destination: China.
Quote: "Why do we need Zidane when we've got Tim Sherwood?" Classic.
Animal: Snow Leopard.
Colour: Black and white stripes.
Lucky Number? 28.

ITN

Top tip for newbs: USE THE FORUM.
ITN Nemesis/rival: Don't really have one.
Best victory this season: Beating my good friend Rainer in our first ever competitive clash.
Best victory ever: U21 WC final win over Italy last season.
Worst result this season: Losing to Santos today! :o
Worst result ever: Losing the play-off last season against Vienna which dropped me into A1.
Best ever buy: Tarradellas.
Worst ever buy: There have been a few. Probably Ivano Perarri. It was only 850k, but at the time I thought he was the real deal and was sorely disappointed.
Best decision: Experimenting during my first stint in the Prem.
Worst decision: Selling Iker.
Biggest achievement: Winning my second A2 title to bounce straight back into the Prem.
Ambition short term: Not to drop down into the B Leagues, win the WC and U21WC.
Ambition long term: Dominate the game. Isn't that everyone's aim?
Fave ITN feature: The community.
Would like to see added to ITN: A sensible nationality generator on youth promotions.

Others

Most embarrassing moment: Couldn't tell you. I've had so many I've trained my brain to erase them from my memory.
8 people to invite to a tea party (fictional or real) : Moggi, Rosella Sensi, Anna Mouglalis, Subutai, Siddhartha (Bhudda), Yeong-ae Lee, Jet Li, and someone else.....
